Crazy being what I used to think was "good" photography.
For instance. A few years ago, I submitted these, thinking that they kicked ass:

And I mean yeah, whatever, they're not bad.
But in comparison to recent photos, fuck. I've learned a lot.

It's just.. baffling. Plus I look hella different from when I was 14.

It's always fun and sort of embarassing to look at work from a few years ago.

But aaaaahh haha the only reason I don't delete work from like.. two, even three years ago is so I can pop back into the depths of my gallery and have a good laugh. And realize that I don't actually suck.

You don't need a super awesome camera or lighting knowledge to get a good photo. You personality shows through anyways.
But yes, your creative eye has definitely matured. The one with the feather over your eye is one I could hang on my wall.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of your art develops over time as well.

I died for you.
I do still like those pictures, though. I'm always a sucker for high contrast b/w photos, and at the time I thought I was very ahead of other people in terms of stylistic editing. But hell. Goes to show, right?
Hey. Want me to mail you a print of the one with the feather over my eye? It is pretty blurry, but hell. I'll do it.
